Berries and Lace Scarf

A new 1 skein free pattern to introduce our new worsted weight Hilltop Shetland. This is just a 4 row repeat pattern, easily memorized that looks harder than it is. The mini bobbles, or berries are easier than traditional bobbles. No turning your work for each bobble!

Hilltop Shetland Worded in Natural and Hand Dyed Colors

The yarn for this scarf is a triple plied round lofty yarn in both hand dyed and natural colors. The example is knitted in Fawn. You can purchase this in our Farm Store.

So, here is the pattern. Or i will include a hard copy of the pattern with with each purchase of our Hilltop Worsted.

Materials
1 skein Hilltop Shetland worsted in Fawn, 200 yard skein
(www.sweettreehill.farm to purchase yarn.)
Size 9 US straight needles
Tapestry needle

Instructions:
CO 24 sts on straight needles.
The Berries and Lace Stitch (Multiple of 8 Sts)

Row 1 (RS): P2, *yo, sl1, k1, psso, k2tog, yrn, p4; repeat from * ending last repeat with p2 instead of p4.
Row 2: K2, p4, p3tog, (k1, p1, k1) into next stitch; repeat from * to last 6 sts, p4, k2.
Row 3: Same as row 1.
Row 4: K2, p4, (k1, p1, k1) into next stitch, p3tog; repeat from to last 6 sts, p4, k2.

Repeat these 4 rows until scarf length is achieved. Bind off.
Weave in loose ends, enjoy!
